I am working in the University Archives Office at Loyola University Chicago under the supervision of Kathy Young and Dr. Kyle Roberts during the Spring 2012 semester. Zorian Sasyk, another Loyola undergrad, and I, will be working in close conjunction to document and catalogue information from the beginning years of the library at St. Ignatius College, which later became Loyola University Chicago. In the coming days and weeks, I will provide descriptions of the work I am doing as part of the internship, and I will describe in detail specific tasks and documents that I have found particularly interesting. My first post will likely be posted within the next couple days. I look forward to any feedback on my work throughout the semester, and if any reader of this blog has any questions, I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
